Our mercury battery adapters are the perfect solution for vintage collector cameras and equipment that were designed for use with mercury batteries. The adapters are the same size as the original battery; no additional modification is required. They have a built in circuit to reduce the operating voltage of a standard battery to that of a mercury battery. Breathe life into your old classic cameras with a new mercury battery adapter from C.R.I.S.!
·Uses a readily available silver oxide 386 Battery
·Installs into camera or meter the same as the original battery
·No additional modification is necessary
·Micro-circuitry reduces voltage to meet original specifications
·A one time Purchase; lasts a lifetime with normal use
The MR-9 Adapter replaces the PX13 and PX625 Mercury batteries used in many collectable cameras and older photographic equipment. Using one silver oxide 386 battery (NOT INCLUDED), the MR-9 steps the voltage down to 1.35 volts.
Here is what real customers are saying about our adapters on the internet:
"I've used a C.R.I.S. adapter for at least 10 years, (maybe longer?) with zero problems in Leica CL, Olympus Pen FT, Canon Demi, Nikkormats, and OM-1's. Highly recommended. No need to fool with DIY projects, fiddly washers, or zinc-air cells." - Skip W.
"I use the C.R.I.S. adapter in an original Canon F-1, a Gossen Super Pilor, and two MR4 meters. Everything works perfectly." - Peter W.
"I too have used the C.R.I.S. cells for years on my Nikons and Light meters without any problems." - Michael G.
